Himalayan Specialty Coffee
Together with the Human Practise Foundation we are helping establish sustainable production of specialty coffee in Eastern Nepal. We are directly trading with a community of 1000 farmers and helping the livelihood of 3500 people from their families and community.
All profit from the beans in this tin goes uncut back to the farmers and community.
A bonus fact: The specialty coffee operating partner in Nepal - Tensing - comes from a long line of proud sherpas, and his grandfather was part of the first MT Everest summit with Edmund Hillary. We are proud and humbled to be working with tensing and have him safely guide these beans to London.
Country: Nepal, Taplejung
Varietals: Bourbons, Catturas, Typica
Process: Natural
Elevation: 1100-1200 masl
Tasting notes: sugar cane, dried fruit, chocolatey mouthfeel
